SSK-50 Carbine Stock Set @ Hausofarms...

I was thrilled to see the return of the composite stock set for the SSK-50/G1 Contender Carbine newly announced by Hausofarms.

It appears to be identical to the G2 Stock which is far superior in design to the old Rynite Stock Set.

I didn't waste any time ordering one. Will make excellent handling Carbines from the New SSK-50 Frames.

I'm thinking 30-30 Ackley Improved is a great choice. Maybe a 44 Special too.

This will be a very limited interest item. But, for those who've shot the Contender Carbines, no explanation will be necessary...

Dangit! I went and bought a standard stock set from Haus of Arms as soon as I was notified I had an SSK50 on the way.

I expend a fair bit of effort building a cheek rest out of spray adhesive, black foam sleeping pad and an elastic butt-cuff/shell-holder. They may not be pretty, but they don't work all that great either.

The G2 Stock Design fixes all the problems we faced for years. Adapting the same outside dimensions to the G1 Frame will be life changing...

OK, three. If I go with the 360 BH on the SSK50, I plan on using sights, not a scope, so the original Ryinite set would be good.

i bought one of the new stock sets last week but dont have it in hand yet. but i have high hopes for it.

Mine arrived today and was exactly as pictured. This will be an excellent upgrade for those who use scoped Carbines...

mine came in yesterday also it fits me way better then the old style.
