I’ve long pondered a similar build. Haven’t gotten there yet as the factory .44 specials are such a value….
If I would have had that gun built I would have had a custom cylinder and block added (longhunter).
Wouldn’t cost all that much more and would make all the other cosmetic work justified.
Maybe a blue one….hmmmm…

When I had Bowen build my retirement gun I wanted a Nimrod, but after looking at the longhhunter with ovate barrel. I surely don't regret that decision.

I try to make packing pistol class guns lighte. The SS grip frame and ovate barrel are heavy for my taste. It is a beauty, though! Those grips are sure stunning!
