First off we can shoot quill pigs. So I do. Tough on trees and like op said not many trees in first place. So they get shot.
I believe it’s Canada that you can’t shoot them? Something about it’s the only critter man can catch and eat if lost and with out food. I heard that somewhere. Any one heard that?
And water turkeys! Hahahahaha
We had them around as a kid growing up. Dad had a panfish lake and they would move in and clean up. He hated them. He knew the damage they could do. We always enjoyed fishing there and he was very protective of it.
