I've been looking for some long nose, relatively short shank bullets for the BFR. Garrett has their 540 GR Hammerheads that is loaded ammo but I though there was a cast bullet for sale somewhere that was similar. My BFR is shooting 1 - 1.25 inch grounds at 25 yards but this is with typical 45/70 bullets (long shank) and I'm nowhere close to filling the cylinder. Any direction would be appreciated.

Agree with BB5, Tom at Accurate makes great molds. start casting your own, and your set for life!

Beartooth bullets made a long nose bullet called the pile driver, there was a PD, PD Jr., and PD lite I believe. I have some if you are interested. I do not recall the weight right now and I’m still hunting, but will be home later this week. I purchased a lifetime supply of them years ago and really have no intention of using them myself.

I'd love to start casting but my current home, and the cost of housing in general prevent me from having my own shop or enough space for hobbies. Thanks for the advice regarding the Crater and Matts bullets, I sent in an order for those.
