Holy Cow! At $50 a pound, I won’t be dipping into your stash. Someone was talking about ramshot enforcer being a good alternative.

Do/have any of you guy’s ever heard of Blue Collar Reloading? I ordered some 2400 and Unique from them Friday night, I read some reviews online and they seemed to be legit.

Minus two more. Don’t like the price, but don’t like being without, more…

They even have 8lb jugs.
I hate to say it but $50 a pound is just what it any powder basically costs anymore.
That said I am glad I bought an 8lb a long time ago. I lean a bit more to AA9 than 2400, very very close to the same powder.

Im a poor rancher and hay farmer so I tend to be a “make due or do without” kind of guy most of the time, but I’ll always buy components I’m not even looking for if the deal is right. I came into 4 8# jugs of enforcer and a bunch of n340 on grafs a while back. That should take care of mid range loads. I have been stocking up on h110 and universal for quite some time to cover the other ends of the spectrum. I should be passing plenty down to my sons. Being OCD has some benefits I guess!

I've been experimenting with Shooter's World Heavy Pistol lately. Haven't formed a solid opinion, but it shows promise and it is a lot less expensive than most of the other powders in it's burn rate (AA9 and to an extent 2400). I've noticed that I do have a larger SD with the 41 magnum loads I've been working up, but I haven't really pushed up to the highest velocities yet. Shooter's World doesn't have any 41 Mag data that I have been able to find so I'm working up cautiously. They do have data for 357 Mag and I have worked out a good load in 357 Mag with standard primers and a 158 grain plated flat point bullet @ 1100 fps. Again a little high on the SD but it is an accurate load none the less. Shooter's World has some data for 44 Mag but I haven't had an opportunity to load any of it yet. I picked up quite a few pounds when times were lean because it was available. I recall paying around $30ish a pound, however I don't see any available right now, but if you do see some it might be worth trying it out. shootersworldpowder.com/heavy-pistol/

Blue Collar Reloading is a great shop. Veteran owners. I've bought from them for years. They weren't shipping powder so I'm surprised to see that.

They all “work” to some degree I guess. Universal has been my “unique” substitute for years and does quite well. A good 2400 sub would be nice too but I tend to go from 1000fps +- with universal to flat out with h110, 296, or wc820. Universal has been particularly good in my bisley 44spl. A 250 at 1100fps will be hard to improve upon in my 4 5/8 barrel.
