This old model 357 to 41 Mag conversion used to wear a brass bisley grip frame but on the 4 5/8" barrel is seemed a little out of proportion to me. I decided to send it along with one of Ron Powers last old model brass birdshead grip frames, a Clements bisley spurred hammer and a set of elephant ivory grips to Andy Horvath and had him do the fitting and retiming for the new hammer. I like the outcome much better and I really like the feel of the birdshead grip. This is it with the 41 Special Li'l Gun Andy did as well. I really like this pair.

Great looking gun and also making the most of a medium frame six shot revolver.

Hard to say which one I like better. In either case you picked a great caliber.
