After a number of years usage three of my four Dillon covers needed a cleaning so I dropped them in the washing machine, set it to the"gentle" cycle (Y'know where the gals set to wash their undies) and when they came out two were totally twisted and shredded. I had no plans on sending them to the dryer but the third one which was undamaged I left to air dry. Funny the one that was undamaged was made of a substantially heavier material.

I've not seen the need to wash my Dillon covers yet,, so this is a good tip. But if I were to try it,, I'd use a baggie for delicates like Miss Penny does with her bras & such.

Very good to know. I bet if you called Dillon they would send you new covers.

Old Dillon might have. Current Dillon, dunno.
I have a cover for my 650, I don't think it's been on in a decade. And NOT because I use the press so much. lol

I use covers on all my Dillons. Due to the potential for dust,, bugs, ( yes,, even in well sealed rooms,, bugs can get in,) or whatever else might try & find it's way into the case feeder,, or the toolhead etc,, I prefer to keep mine covered. Just as a precaution.

Old jean leg should work and you could wash them. I doubt the skinny jeans the kids wear these days would fit?

Actually,, old blue jeans legs are way too small for any of the Dillons. I used to have home sewn covers,, but over the many years,, have gotten factory ones. I still have home sewn covers for my caliber conversions though. Jeans legs could possibly work for that.

Pillow covers should work. King size with case feeder . Smaller sizes to fit your specific setup and machine.
