Went to the range about 11am today, about 85 and sunny and very humid. Took 2 loads to try: all bullets were 240gr Keith style hardcast load 1-8.5 grains of 700x load 2-20 grains 2400 It liked them both just fine, I will load some 240gr Gold Dot HP's over 2400 next and see how they do. This gun is an absolute joy to shoot! It handles recoil well, and the sights are great. Although I think a gold bead patrige is soon to be installed, just cause I like em. OK, so after trying a few loads at a few different ranges and shooting a couple of other pistols, I got serious with this Bisley. Here are my best 2 groups offhand at 20 yards. The top is 700x, bottom is the last 3 2400 loads in the box. It will shoot. Thats as good as I can hold on any given day. I'll take it!!

Bummer, just checked and it wont fit my EP Saddlery carved rig or my Old West Reproductions working rig. Guess I,ll have to make a call Monday and fix that issue.

Don't you just love when they shoot as good as they look?
