. i fondled a few of the Grendel P30 back in the early 90's, designed by George Kelgren, the company owner and the same guy behind Keltec (both company names are from his last name: KEL-tec & GRENdel). keigren is the swedish immigrant who also designed the Tec-9 semi-auto, plus a number of Husqvarna firearms in his native country. i believe it was discontinued after the hi-cap ban went into effect (who'd want a huge 10-rd 22 auto?) its what the keltec PMR30 is based on. it was light but it sure was large, really large, with a big wide grip. and it was pretty fugly too. it got loads of bad press for being unreliable, but i have no idea how true that is. here's a review with a pix comparing it to the 1911: www.hk94.com/hk/topic/19607-tech-report-grendel-p30/.

The NRA show on the Outdoor Channel showed one of the 308 rifles off a while back... Neat bullpup design... The ejection out the front is kewl. Not Kel Tec cheap though so I didn't even look for one.. That Kel-Tec RFB is a NEAT little item! www.gunblast.com/KelTec-RFB.htmHere it is compared to the excellent DPMS SASS, which has the same barrel length as the RFB:
