Has anybody seen, handled or read any reviews of this 30 shooter? I'm interested... broke, but interested. Help me live vicariously, will ya?

I don't know anyone who's actually handled one. My gun dealer over in Kerrville says he has ten on order but no idea when they'll be in. It's just as well, my gun stash is looking poor right now.

I like the concept that Kel Tec has with this pistol. A poor boy FN 5-7. I think they will sell a lot of them. Too bad 22mg is so expensive.

I am so ready to buy one of these. It IS listed in the latest CDNN catalog. By the way, folks should take a long look at the size of this pistol. It is NOT compact by any stretch of the imagination. It really is a full size pistola, comparable in size to say a Browning High Power. By this I mean height and length, not circumferences.

Now if they'll just make an SU16 in 22 mag that accepts the same magazines...

I agree on cheaper than 5-7 ammo. If you can find it. I wished 22 mag was closer in price to 22 lr. The FN 5-7 is a full size pistol also. A compact version of the Kel Tec would be really neat. Maybe that’s next. By the way folks that really like that 5-7 get little puffed up over calling it a 22 mag. I know some guys that carry them 5-7 and they quit talking to me. Even after I told them this dinosaur with a 1911 was just kidding.

Oh, I don't know... $10-$16 for 50 rounds of high velocity ammo loaded with premium varninting bullets doesn't seem so pricy to me. If the price drops, so will the quality... and we've all had a box or 2 of 22lr that was erratic, haven't we?

I agree with hoss, 22 mag's are still a good value, in a handgun and even better in a rifle. If the PMR30 proves to be a good gun I will have one for sure. My brother had a 22 Automag and we never got the bugs worked out to be completely happy with it. He traded it out.

Thanks Boge! Still no accuracy testing, but at least we know its coming.... I want one. Then again, I wanted a Walther SP22, and that was not what I thought it would be. Nice to get a look at the Kel-Tec factory, too. I've been very happy with the products they make, and with their customer service department. The P32 and the P9F are pals of mine...

I managed to make a good home for a PF9 and a P32 also . I never did have any function problems with either one . The little P32 rides around in my front pocket most of the time .I hope the 30 lives up to expectations .

19 ounces, fully loaded. That in itself is impressive.
If the pistols are reported to be accurate and function well, I would definitely buy one. I had an Automag in the past. That was a very frustrating experience to say the least. I've always been curious how the High Standard (new owner of the name) Automags function,....but refuse to take the gamble as the design is still the same from what I know.
I can say I miss the giant fireball though. A .22 mag in a handgun is a fun shooter.

The NRA show on the Outdoor Channel showed one of the 308 rifles off a while back... Neat bullpup design... The ejection out the front is kewl. Not Kel Tec cheap though so I didn't even look for one..

Now if we can get one with a factory threaded barrel...
