Have not been to this pawn shop for awhile. Stopped by today and the had this Ruger P89 9mm in the box with papers and three mags for $300 out the door. It went out the door with me.

Very good pistol! Ruger did make a few extra barrels chambered in .30 Luger and one of my readers sent one to me so it now does double duty.

Nice score!
Those guns are dern near indestructible.
The .30 Luger swappable barrels were a factory offering,, and those who liked the caliber really enjoyed shooting it in their Ruger.

I have a P85 that I bought about 30+ years ago, don't carry it anymore, stays at my bedside now. Too bad they didn't become the US service weapon instead of the Beretta back then, they are tough.

Nope. I believe they had a dot on the part that faces the shooter. I don't HAVE a nine, don't NEED a nine, don't really WANT a nine, but for $300 that one would have follower ME home too. I always thought that was a really nice pistol but never bought one.
EDIT: I did have a P90, 45 ACP and while a tad bulky, it was very accurate, easy-shooting, reliable and tossed each empty into a small circle to my right/rear about 3 feet away. Really nice gun.

I shot the snot out of mine in the 90s and it never failed me. I have the 30 barrel but i dont know where it is. It was hell on rattlers and a lot of fun with the old tracer rounds. It was amazing to me how many people missed out on a great and very affordable 9mm. My dad Loved it and carried it in his truck on the ranch till he died. Now shes back in one of my safes again. Ought to get it out and give it to my oldest Boy Mikey. We have a new Feller added to the fam and i think in a couple of years it will be his turn to enjoy it. R

Love the swept lines of those strong, heavy duty guns. Makes some of the new Ruger autos look dorky. Well bought.

Is that front sight on backwards? No. It has a white dot on the flat.

Very good pistol! Ruger did make a few extra barrels chambered in .30 Luger and one of my readers sent one to me so it now does double duty. Now you're talking tafflin, 30 Luger is one of my favorites. So far in that caliber I have the P08 Luger, the Benelli B80, the Browning Hi Power, and full size 1911 that I made the barrel for. The hen's teeth one is finding a barrel for the P38 Walther. Excellent round and kicks on the heels of the 7.62x25 Tokarev with less powder. I just now come out of the garage casting bullets for both those calibers!

That Ruger is a good pistol and the only fault, for me, is Ruger brough the trigger guard down too low where it attaches to the grip. I have large hands. Had friends complain of this too. Other than that, great gun. I had one in 45acp and it was very accurate.
