Latest straight case from Remington. Another 357 Max?

I'll assume we're talking about the 360 Buckhammer?
Similar to the 357 Max, but more similar to some of the ancient target rounds.
The cartridge is designed around State's Hunting Laws. Case is 1.8", straight walls and 35 Caliber. This works in a lot of states.
The case is based on the 30-30 Winchester, so a barrel change is all that's needed to adapt Lever guns, etc.
Has tremendous potential if it's marketed correctly. Henry sure seems to be struggling to get guns out on the market.
Chamber is correctly cut for rifle bullets, so will definitely have some advantages over the 357 Maximum. But, I'd still still love to see a 357 Maximum Lever Action.
Like all new cartridges, time alone will tell.
The 350 Legend is a huge success. The 30 Super Carry is D.O.A. It's hard to call...

Encore, when my Father and I were touring the Silver Creek Firearms plant in Michigan, in late April, we got to handle their prototype 357 Maximum lever rifle. Constructed out of 17-4 stainless (except the barrel). A handy little rifle it was! You may want to check with them as I know they were close to going into production. Their revolvers are a bit “less than pretty” to my eye, the lever gun was very nice. Steve
