Ruger sells one for the bearcat that is pretty nice for the money. Cheap but works very well. GS

I bought an IWB from Mernickle - now I just have to wait for Bowen to send the Bearcat back!

The Bearcat looks like a teeny-tiney percussion Remington. So I thought percussion when I snarfed leather for mine.
Mine is in a Slim Jim, saddle tan, basket weave, and no trigger guard cutout.

Mike Barranti is making me a custom chest rig for a TLA #5, along with a Bearcat holster that will interchange on the same harness. I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

I can make you one. Unfortunately as if it wasn't bad enough I lost my job mpnday, yesterday a company (sporting goods chain actually) that I make holsters for cancelled an order for 50 of what I call my Tandy Slim Jim for a 6 1/2-7" SA Revolver. Needless to say I now have 50 pieces from the die cutter that all need t obe sold, PM me if anybody's interested, these need to go, and I can cut them down for a shorter barrel if need be.

Hi Boge, I've been messing with this idea for a long time, but took some inspiration from your fixing yours up. Have also been wanting a Bowen gun for a while (I'm one of the only ones in my group of friends without at least one), and was willing to have the Bearcat gone for a while. Anyway, not doing anything fancy to my Bearcat: an action-tune, conversion to .22 Mag (I have plenty of .22 LRs and don't really need the thing to be convertible), removing the rollmark from the cylinder and reblue, putting on a patridge front sight so that the gun shoots to POA at 10 yards (I just plink with this thing) with 40-gr ammo. I've had Sack Peterson stocks for the gun since immediately after I bought it a couple of years ago and I love the shape and feel of the Bearcat (just a neat little gun). I enjoy owning it but I never took it with me anywhere because it was just a little too anemic for me to bother carrying on hikes. Not sure it'll be much better now, but since I was having Mr. Bowen do the action work, I thought, "What the heck," and did the caliber conversion as well. Maybe I'll carry it around more - that's why I had Mr. Mernickle make me up a nice IWB for it.

Erich, you'll love it! Are you getting the Clements rear sight? I highly recommend it.

I may be crazy, but I told them to just leave it fixed! That's not crazy - Hamilton had the sights regulated dead-on for me, I haven't adjusted them yet!
