Just in from TGW with RW 2 Dogs sight

I love my 45 colt Rugers. Bobby Tyler posted this one and I had to have it. Its an old model midframe size blackhawk converted to 45 colt. Cylinder is a few hairs shorter than my new model flattop 45s but I have bullet options and deep seating potential which Ive only tried out recently with excellent results. The excellent blue, fire blue screws, base pin, etc. Color case hammer and trigger. Fermins excellent front sight and I cant exaggerate how great the RW 2 Dogs rear sight insert improves the rear sight. Im in love. Bobby does excellent work, and Im glad to have several TGW Rugers in my collection. The holster is a carved Barranti NW Companion that this gun appears to want be connected with.

Mid frame 45 Colt guns with alloy frames are surprisingly light. PPP material there.

I might opt to cerakote or anodize the grip frame, but that two tone look has a long history and lots of admirers. It's nice to see such a well fit grip frame.

LOve the two-tone look, personally. Only thing I'd change is a brass/gold bead in the FS. Nice blaster!

So many good things with that Ruger! Love the pinto look and the stags. Rear sight is upgraded as that upgrade is needed. Love to see the holster without the gun lying upon it?

Barranti Rig really adds much class.
