John does great work! He is installing a S&W ribbed 45 Colt barrel on a Ruger for me right now. This gives me a pretty good idea what it will look like. Yup, JT is right about the custom revolvers, they DO get into your blood! Great photos by the way. Do me a favor and tell Axehandle I took the pictures jsut to play with his mind!

Ha! You Wish you could take pictures like that! Fine looking custom... I have been impressed with John Gallagher's trigger and action work on NM Blackhawks. The triggers on mine are such that when shooting John's work with other guns at the range I find that I must maintain an awareness of when I transition to one of John's guns..

Actually, those pics are horrible. I gotta put my light box back together and take some GOOD ones.
I'll let you know how it shoots. I'm thinking awesome is gonna be the word I use. The action is so smooth its scary. I need to find out who did the grips also, I want more!

Monitor at work sucks, but that gun still looks great. I'm assuming it is a 44. Nice!

Stump
okay..found some words....
At the risk of being forever banned, I have to say that is the FIRST Bisley I have found to be aesthetically attractive. Everything on that revolver flows together so well. Nicely Done!!!

I am sure it will be even nicer in the hand, sending lead down range.

That's about as good as it gets. My compliments to Mr. Gallagher on a wonderful execution. The S&W barrel just sets it off. It appears to be one of the newer generation barrels permitting interchangeable front sights. Am I correct?
Maybe I missed it, but is it a .44? .45?
