I have a Leupold M8-2x on my XP 100 that's a range toy but I'd like to pull it off and put it on my SBH Hunter but I'm thinking of getting a Burris 2-7x32 or 2x20 for the XP.
For Burris owners, how do Burris scopes hold up on a handgun? Any comments on the various 2x7 models?

Had one on a contender years ago. Granted it was only in 223 but did everything I wanted. Was regularly thrown in the front seat of my truck and bounced around on dirt roads looking or the opportunity to take a coyote

I have a few of them on revolvers and contenders. Every chance I get to get one for a decent price, I always try to pick one up, both the old and the new models.

Have them on XP in 7-08, and Ruger 454C, as well as FA 500jrh. They are both durable and one of the few companies still offering a wide selection suitable for handguns.

The three handguns that I took to Africa this spring all wore Burris 2 x 7’s. Never had any issues.

I have 2x7 Burris’s on two heavy kickers (500LINEBAUGH and 310GNR) and two plinkers. Never had one fail

I'll echo the folks above. I have a few, and they are excellent. Plus, Burris is a great company to deal with.
