The wife and I put a couple hundred rounds through a new Tisas Bantam 9mm. Under 30oz alloy frame, fully ramped polished barrel, Ed Brown style bobtail. We only shot 115 grain Fiocchi FMJ ball. It ran great. Nice trigger. I payed $814 close out price. Reviews I saw said the the mags were crap, but I had no issues with the one load tried so far. Ran like a top. This gun was discontinued after only a couple years. I think maybe folks didn’t want to pay Colt money for a Turkish made gun. They make a much less expensive version without the cheesey skeletonization. I say cheesey because I don’t think it makes enough weight savings to amount to much. I think it looks nice though. My first 1911. The local shop has a new Colt competition model 45 with blue G10 grips. I’m trying to not go down the rabbit hole!
