I was able to harvest this fine creature today just before last light. He only went 16 yards. I was told I probably hit an artery. Thanks for looking and any comments. Boats  |

Good shootin', Boats! I can well remember my first whitetail with a handgun and it well surpassed the thrill I had with rifle or shotgun.

16 yds is a very short distance for it to run. Good shot placement = short tracking job!
