Howdy yall, I’ve not been very active here due to life and working on my website. I started learning programming a while back, and because I’m an avid reloader and bullet caster, this was a natural fit. BulletMatch.com
BulletMatch was born out of my own needs, looking for bullet measurements for the Lee 358-140-SWC so I could develop full pressure 357 Magnum loads. I wasn’t able to get there until I bought an RBCS 38-150-SWC, which has nearly the same used case volume, is a touch heavier, and has published data. Bullet pictures with measurements is what BulletMatch is all about, but I also link to cartridges so that you can see all the bullets that are suitable for a particular cartridge. Frank Barnes’ Cartridges of the World is a major inspiration, as I love reading his book and his writing style. My friend and I have put 300+ combined hours into it, and I have thousands of bullets yet to enter. I am also doing research on the history of many bullets, and on the variations of each bullet. The Lyman 429421 has had many changes from it’s inception and we are prepared to show all the variations. I’m excited about that! I’m also working gun cleaning, leading, firearms, and history pages, as well as a full reloading and casting tutorial. I have some of the pages written in rough drafts, but without pictures right now, but I’ll be taking pictures and refining the pages as I have time. We made a lead alloy calculator also, since that’s something that fits right into my love of cast bullets. bulletmatch.com/pages/lead-alloy-calculator The casting and reloading community, as well as my love of cartridges and the history of casting and reloading are the driving factors in this undertaking. I appreciate everyone reading and looking at the site. I appreciate any comments and suggestions anyone has. Thanks, John

I played with the lead calculator. It's really close using alloy mixes I have tested. Much better than the one I was using. Thank you for making this available.

Thanks all.
We actually worked on the lead alloy calculator for a long time to get it as usable as it is. I'm not satisfied with it yet, so still going to tweak it some more.

I've got a few molds you don't have listed. I can send you some samples if you want to add them.
There's more than a few casters on this site with probably most molds made collectively represented between here and the cast boolits forum

I got an Ideal 358429 added earlier. It's got a round lube groove. Does anyone know when they made the change from square to round lube grooves?

I have made a spread sheet with my Bullet Samples, it updates automatically as I add to it.
