What's the course of fire for something like this, what kind of shooting it is? Is it like a "woods walk"?
I was mentioning to someone yesterday that for a few years I talked about a "Hunter Handgun" type match at my club. Informal chance for people to shoot steel at... some farther than normal (for most people) target distances, maybe 30-150 yards, from field positions. Irons, dots, scope divisions. Generous par times of no real value other than to keep things moving, maybe multiple strings, unlimited shots your fort string, one round per target your next.

The course of fire is whatever you are hunting wants it to be. Par time is however long it takes to stop that really upset Watusi from stomping you into jelly.

Stepping nose to nose with a water buffalo in the corn field is exhilarating also. Makes for good practice

Cas wilderness hunting lodge in Tennessee great place to hunt. Couldn’t line up Gary’s dates ,ended up there he week before the misfits. This was a few years ago..It’s about a fifteen hour ride from Suffolk County. You can hunt by yourself or with a guide. Bring your atv to hunt off of too.
