The fit and finish of Charter Arms products is looking pretty good. Handled this new 44 Special Bulldog yesterday.

Sweet. Is finding 44 Special on the shelves holding you back?

Can’t recall the exact year but I bought one of the “classic” styled after early 70s model sometime post 2010. Blued model with 3” pipe like the stainless gun my dad toted most of my life. Only difference was mine came with square but grips versus his round butt variation. My belt sander quickly solved that issue as I am fond of the charter round grips from the original bulldogs. A max dose of unique throwing a 250g Keith and it’s a sweet lil gun to have on body. Only gripe was the typical ramped classic front sight was overly polished and glared awfully before the checker if file serrated it prior to a cold blue touch up. Near perfect pocket pistol for northeast ms! Stopping power for crackheads and larger critters, precise enough for head shots on cottontails and carries enough bbs for venomous no-legged demons of the swamps
