I couldn't find much information on what I am looking for, but thought yall might have some answers.

Is it possible to mount a red dot sight like a Holosun or something on a SRH using the scalloped recesses for the factory Ruger rings? I really dont want to take the sights off the weapon to use the conventional mount. Something that would attach at the rear factory recess so a twist of the nut on the mount and the dot sight could be removed for using the standard open sights would be ideal.

Anyone know of anything like what I am describing?

Had to mount it in the front due to interference with the top strap.
