Has anyone had any deer hunting experience with this bullet? I want to try it in my 6.5x55 Encore.

Not deer, but it did well for the Missus on Mouflan from a Rem 7 Youth rifle. I'll have to look up which load was used.
150yds broadside. Double lungs. Bang. Flop. Nearly 1-3/4" exit hole.

Id always thought of it as Hornadys answer to the Nosler BT, I’m glad to hear it exits in a solid piece.

I've used the 129 SST in a 6.5x55 on Arkansas Whitetails and smaller hogs with good success. All 1 shot kills.
