Just picked up a pretty cool sixgun...

USFA Rodeo Sheriff's Model, with "Antique patina" finish (actually the box has hand-written "Cust." under finish). They only made 50 of the Rodeo Sheriffs (mine's the 7th one), and this is the only one I've seen with the antique finish. Picked it up from Gunbroker, I was the only bidder so I got it pretty reasonabe.

If your first thought was, "that must be a KICKIN' little snot!", then your first thought would be RIGHT.

Pretty cool, I think.

Thats one sweet little gun you picked up Boge. does that box in the pictures have a 45ACP cylinder in it? Is that cylinder ring part of the antique finnish or is there a slight timming issue?

The box is empty. I don't know about the turn ring, but I expect it's from improper handling. There are no timing issues, and the dern thing locks up TIGHTLY.

I must admit, my first thought was...RECOIL! Looks great though, actually it looks like a rendition of the "original pocket gun"...or something close. ;D Cute little bugger.

I know I'm late, but just saw this. That is a very nice six-gun. Wish USFA would catalog that one. I really want a Sheriff's Model, I'm saving. I've been checking USFAs web regularly. Thanks for sharing with us. Bet it shoots well too.

You half to love the short barrel..
I got a Thunder 45 colt some years ago and got hooked..as did all I let shoot it !!!!!!!!!!
Great carry gun [Texas CCW]
Then I got a 45 mondago !!!!!!!!!!! The Converted one to 41 mag ...
All are great but there is always a soft spot for a colt/USFA and that one hurts BAD...
