 The Handgun Hunters Challenge hunt every year at the Wilderness hunting lodge in Tennessee is a great place to meet up with folks you don’t get to see too often. Handgun Hunters ( and rifle and bow) from across the country meet up to shoot, Hunt and visit for 4 days, all inclusive with lodging and meals. The Event is Around the first weekend of October, and possibly a second one in April each year. The lasts night raffle alone is worth the trip, as well as playing with too many custom revolvers and more. |

 Over 50 hunters, everyone gets a free raffle ticket, after 5 prizes each, it was pick what you want from the prize table. Here’s a pic of a good portion of the group. |

  I got a nice little flip top Corsican ram, his horns will make a nice addition to the outdoor light on my woodshed. |

 A few fellow handgunners brought their home made version of different shooting tripods. I’ve used mine for a couple years now, all across the USA and Africa. One thing for sure, shooting a revolver off a tripod is much better than off hand, especially out past 100 yards. |

It was a weekend filled with many stories and lots of laughs. I imagine it has to be the largest gathering of handgun hunters currently being held.
