welcome to the forum and yes have a lot of fun with singleactions. I have a suggestion to make. Go to matts bullets ( since you are not casting at the moment) and get some 140gr Round Flat this should be good for elevation, and small game hunting. You might try the 130gr Round Flat. These are both good bullets and I have used them in 38SP and 357 maggie. You should not have to go very hot with the velocity say anywhere from 750 to 900 FPS and that should put you on Bullseye at 25- 40 yds. Tex

Thank you, sorry I haven't answered back sooner. The little devil is now with a gunsmith getting the action tuned and repaired, (won't reliably lock back to full cock), and when it comes home, maybe my new Simply Rugged holster will be here waiting for it!

I like your Uberti. I would want it in 45-Colt. There is a dove tail front sight you could have put on there that is drift adjustable...

See, it has already started, you’ll be broke before you know it !

Howdy from Kentucky. Well, better late than never. What'd you ever figure out for load development?
What model of Simply Rugged holster are you getting? I carry my Blackhawk in a Sourdough pancake. Quite comfortable both inside and outside the waistband.

Odd, there certainly doesn't seem to be any dovetail in the barrel. I bought mine in .357 since I cast and load 38 Special, and with one spacer, voila! I am loading 357 Mag. drycreek - I am already broke! LeverGunner, so far one load with the Hornaday 125gr XTP seems to give decent groups, but experimentation will continue. I am very much hoping to find a repeatable accurate load either with the 158gr Lee SWC or Lee 158gr Tumble Lube LRN - I have both molds right now. I ordered the El Dorado with border stamping and hammer thong - been over a month now... Oh, yeah - the gunsmith texted me today, she's all ready for the dance. We'll get a few rounds down range this weekend!

You would need to have a dove tail cut. Up to you weather or not it's worth it.
