Yesterday at a local shop I compared a Colt King Cobra and a Colt King Cobra Talo edition and for a $200 price difference it looks like the only non factory item (although it says Colt) are wood hand grips on the Talo. The gun shop salesman could not identify any differences between the two.
For what it's worth the wood Talo grips were nice but did not feel good in the hand and made the gun come up muzzle high compared to the factory rubber grips. Both myself and 2 other salesmen, all of us with different sized hands, noticed the same phenomenon with the more expensive of the 2 guns not being fit as well to any of us. We thought that was quite interesting. Seems like $200 NOT spent well on this particular Talo model...
