Crown City 1911? Anyone heard of them?

Picked this one up a while back. Not much info out there on Crown City except that the Stainless on Stainless was prone to mar the rails. Guess I am lucky this is a Stainless lower and Blued upper.
It has a Colt National Match barrel. The barrel bushing is aftermarket and has 4 fingers on the rear. The spring plunger is offset and can only be installed one way. I assume to clear the fingers of the bushing. It fits super tight at the tip of the barrel, but slides freely. There is no movement whatsoever of the barrel, front or rear, at lockup. The slide is a flattop with serrations and it has BoMar sights. I have never seen one inletted into the slide like this, and I don't think it is factory. There is just no info that I have found on this pistol and I am curious how far from stock it is, mainly with the sights and flattop slide. Any one have any experience with them? Reguardless, it should make a good truck gun.

I have no personal experience with the Crown City guns but havent read much good about them. Sounds like a Colt S70 collett bushing. Not sure about the plunger. Are referring to the recoil spring plug? Never seen one offset. The Bomar installation is referred to as "buried" and is the favored installation. Lowers the profile closer to the bore and offers some protection. You can order Caspian slides with that cut.
