I just came into a Ruger Super Redhawk in .454 Casull. It’s a
2-1/2 inch, all black, with fixed sights.
Doing a little digging, I found this-

I thought that was interesting. I don’t know if they built a bunch of these, or a few, or if it’s a standard service that’s been done hundreds of times…. Either way, it’s pretty cool.
I’ve shot some .454 out of it, and have no intention of ever doing that again unless I can figure out a decent shot shell load using 454 cases.
