Those that like them and those that don’t Doesn’t seem to be many in the middle ground Any thoughts? I saw the title of the post and clicked on it thinking... I know who will like this. Lo and behold you're the one that posted it. 😁 You were the one found it for me!!!! Thanks again 10 or 11 now. 22 to 375H&H. All brands

I love them also Ruger m77 tang safety 243 win,308 win,250 savage. Ruger No.1 7x57,6.5x55.Ruger m77/22wmr,Ruger 10/22.CZ 527 222 rem,CZ 455 17hmr. Kimber continental 223 rem, Mannlicher Schoenauer 1908 8x56.had a Winchester model 70 30/06 new no box some guy wanted it more than me at the time so it went down the road, also had a Ruger m77 tang safety in 22/250 i traded away. like to find Ruger No.1 RSI 300 rcm. ***** Bill Ruger loved the Styer Mannlicher-Schoenaur alpine carbine for its exceptional quality, alpine handling, with double-set triggers and sleek rotary magazine. The Mannlicher stock on a carbine shares the beauty statement of a Colt Peacemaker with its barrel flush to the extractor housing. My Ruger M-77 International Carbines in .308 and .243 Winchester were surprisingly accurate. Once, zeroed, however, too alter the powder charge half a grain shifted ZERO. Brought, one evening, to Bill's cocktail hour the target of pig painted on cardboard, with a 3x3-shot group of 2-1/2 or 3-inches, fired prone @ 200 yards with Federal 150 SP. The M-77 .308 Mannlicher with pencil-thin 1:10 twist 18-1/2” barrel mounted a Leupold 3x scope. “I suppose you’re going to tell me that’s not accurate,” says Bill. “No, Bill. I think it’s excellent." Later on, I glass bedded the muzzle at the forened, which tightened groups and even made 5-shot groups possible. The ,243 was equally impressive. Like the .308, any deviation in load shifted Point of Impact. David Bradshaw I have the 77 tang safety in 308. May become a 338 federal

I've had 2: a Ruger RSI in 30-06 which was excellent, and a Sako .375 H&H with a wandering zero that I gave up on. I have a Sako (Mauser) in 375 20” barrel

I've got a Walmart edition 10/22, love it. Only place they ever sold them!!!! It was 1998 that Walmart discontinued them and reduced the price from $250 to $150. I and several of my friends bought them...my favorite 10/22. There are quite a few 10/22 International models but only the Walmart special has the black laminated stock within stainless barreled action... Have had about a half dozen full stock guns...just the Ruger and an old Savage single shot .22 left... Bob

They offered the stainless/black laminate and the grey/stainless as well. I ordered one of each as soon as I saw them. Very shortly thereafter, they were shut down for stupidity. It was then that Walmart picked up the order.

Used to own a small Sako in .222 with a full stock. A truly handsome package that shot way better than I could.

I'll dig mine out and get a picture, it's a green/grey (or black) laminate stock. I probably still have the receipt. I'm sure about the green part.

I had one of the first RSI in 308 in the early 1980’s. Could not get it to shoot, tried 150, 165, 180 factory ammo and various reloads. It made a trip back to the factory, still wouldn’t shoot. I think they said 3” at 50 yds was fine. Traded it for a Winchester M70 270 that shot better at 300 yds than the RSI at 50 yds. That RSI sure was pretty though! After 40 years without a Mannlicher, I broke down and picked up a Kimber Brownell 22LR. It will shoot! CCI SV at 50 yds
