Ron Peterson Firearms had a tent sale.

This shop closed their doors and went only online with their business several years ago.  It was a huge loss because they buy estates and were a great resource for all sorts of oddball stuff if you were a collector or a handloader.  This weekend they opened up to sell some of those odds and ends, of course at steep discounts, it was glorious.  Check them out at RonPetersonfirearms.com.

More pictures of the items that I found.  Also found some inexpensive 41 Mag bullets, both LSWCs and some XTPs, 38 S&W rounds, as well as, a few HKS speed loaders.  Unfortunately, I got there only 30 minutes before they closed but I did my best, probably just as well, I would have dropped a stupid amount of money had I been there earlier.

Been to Ron’s shop as well as his Daughter’s in Santa Fe many times. You could go in and ask for about anything and he’d go in the back and come out with one…or two.

I noticed one of the other threads on this forum was a question, something like; would you buy brass for a gun you don't own.  My answer would appear to be, "maybe, but I sure would buy a pair of grips for a gun I don't own."  I have neither a Dan Wesson nor a standard grip framed Super Blackhawk, but I couldn't pass up the grips when I saw them.  Once I recover from this expenditure I might just be in the market for a Dan Wesson and a Blackhawk. 

When I was done shopping I told my wife that someday ironically, she may be selling all of this stuff back to Ron Peterson (with the exception of the ammo, it will be long gone, though probably reloaded)   .

I got the postcard but didn't go because I was sure I'd find a whole lot I didn't think that I could live without (but without which I've been living just fine ) - looks like I was right! Thanks for posting about it!
