I want some virgin unicorn grip panels. Now THAT is funny. And your '55 Flatgate is just simply perfect.

I believe there man made solid surface counter top material. Dense and smooth, they feel good. Extremely durable. I have a different color on one of my FA83’s.

Man, I didn't need to see this thread! Makes my SSs look pretty pedestrian. Very nice guns gentlemen!

This is an all steel convertible done by Harton. Fermin's brother made the grips and they are the cherry on top. The list of work is extensive. This is my last card for this hand.

I think guns like that one above and Bushog's 38 (David's personal) kinda represent a "What if?" attitude. Just run with an idea about as far as you can take it without going over, if that makes any sense. It IS possible to do too much, but taking it to the limit is nice.

Here's an early .327 Federal that Hamilton built for me with a S&W barrel and some Fishpaw musk ox grips. Roy told me these were the best musk ox he ever did... That Musk Ox stuff is magic, pure magic.

I finished off this one a year ago. It was a ratty neglected NM, but it was one of those Davidson ones from 1989 with OM sights. RW 1860 grip frame and his grip blanks. A little heavy but super stable in the hand, off hand (to me). I'm building another S6 right now. 1979 NM with OM non warning barrel, steel xr3 GF, steel ejh, 2 dogs / RW rear sight, old Micro front sight.
