After I put up pics of the single six that no longer wears a bisley frame a couple of you added or sent me pics of things you've had done. I'd like to start a thread of just such things. We have the blueprint thread that was started years ago but that is predominantly Blackhawks that were made into stuff. This is a thread for single sixes, single sevens, and Bearcats. Some might get doubled up but oh well, I'm old and don't remember the Bearcats on that thread. It doesn't have to be a caliber conversion, Longoval sent me a pic of a SS that looks stock but isn't. Needmostuff's SS 32 with a killer holster fits the bill of this thread. if you have a smaller than Blackhawk gun that you sent off, did yourself, or just care about more than the rest, please contribute. I've got a couple I'll dig out. Someone here got the Nimrod 22 for a song, maybe he's still here. So here's my non bisley again as well as a Harton SS SS 38 special. I'll get to something else later. Please add. I think a beautiful thing about 22's is there's no load development, you just gotta figure out what it likes. Any caliber, any configuration. I neveer gott one of those Clements 327 Bearcats and I'm not sure why but that deal's done. Chime in fellas. David Clements 327 SS Single Seven.
Alan Harton Single Six 38 Special, the list of work on this is extensive.
Just a single six with some lipstick, I'm the only one that touched it. Thanks Robb.

Other than Fermin's 32-20/327 light weight I stole from him, which is on a mid frame Blackhawk, I only own one single six sized gun. It was a 22 that David Clements built for himself with a new barrel, line bored cylinder, drift front sight and Wyoming bighorn grips he made himself. It goes to my youngest grandson some day.

This is a great thread topic. Thanks for the fine examples so far. My contribution, an OM Single Six 22 Magnum tuned by Jim Stroh. I fit the brass gripframe, Chad at Chigs Grips did the grips, you know who made the holster. This is my off-season carry gun at deer camp. Love to shoot carpenter bees with snake shot out of this gun. imgur.com/a/3YMYxgO

Sorry my brother but ask for 32s and holsters covers some ground round here. But ask and they happily appear. Both dressed and undressed. 5 1/2" Single 7, RW gripframe PJ jr. Bisley hammer, homemade grips & pointy thing. Then there is the same single seven in a lighter ,4 1/2" packin pistol form. Alloy gripframe, Bisley hammer, E.L. Brown crossdraw and homemade grips. Or the Baby Vaquero, Alloy gripframe, free spinning cyl., homemade stocks and unknown holster. This gun actually has a kind of twin. Basically, the same except one has a dovetailed front sight. Built two thinking I would get rid of one and keep the favorite, just couldn't do it.

To get my Bearcat bases covered I had to get 3 of them. One old model with bone, one stainless reamed for 22 mag with desert big horn. and one adj sight model with elk. Then this little round butt shopkeeper showed up. So it got sheep horn.

Two Single Sixes done up very differently. TGW NM RSSE, a homage to the legendary Ruger variant. Beautifully finished but otherwise a regular Baby Vaquero. I love this gun and have carried it in the field several times. It lives in a stunning Barranti holster or in a TGW premium display case. BBQ ready and like all Single Sixes, plenty capable in the field. 2nd is a regular OM, 6.5" convertible. This one has a few subtle custom touches: Colt style BM pin, Zane's vintage micarta grips, and I had the magnum cylinder black powder chamfered as it was otherwise the identical to the lr cylinder. It also has a steel ejector rod housing and grip frame. But in addition to the chamfered cylinder and fitted steel parts, Alan Harton did a complete action job and some accuracy work. After being reblued, the result is a great shooting old model that is absolutely pristine and a joy to handle. It is also deserving of Barranti leather. I need to get one on order. Both great guns in their own way.

Really nice revolvers gentlemen. I once has a Super Single Six with 6.5 barrel that I guarantee you would shoot along side Ruger's target semi autos or even beat them at times. Like a fool I sold it. Bought it new in 65 for $69!
