The only thing better would be if I could stand off your shoulder and actually watch the process!

That certainly is an attractive material, impervious to everything I'd imagine.

I have followed Zane's work for many, many years now. From way back when, and a set of 1911 grip panels,, to the current stuff,, he has always provided a quality product. Seeing this Cape horn material transform into such beautiful grips is just as amazing now as it has always been. Stunning work, and the material here is about as nice a set of black grips as I've ever seen.
Thanks for sharing Zane!

NEAT. SO HOW GOOD IS CAPE BUFFALO HORN AS A GRIP MATERIAL? DURABILITY, etc.? Rey, it’s a great material for grips or knife handles. It’s just like sheep horn. It may be tough to get large grips from it though. as you can see it’s still pretty hollow at the horn tips. the bosses may be a better area to get blanks from, but that’s just a guess.

Hey... "profile mount" , sawn down the middle and mounted flat to the wall? We might be on to something, make grips out of the other side. Hmmm...
