thanks sir! I appreciate you taking the time. Much more consistent. I may buy a box or two to get me through until starline gets another run going. I just happened to have both a box of brass and a dial caliper laying next to my desk from previous projects, waiting to be put away! Good timing is priceless!

I forgot to measure my Hornaday brass. Mine are old though. I think the price tag says $32 No worries at all, I think we’ve got it answered. I wondered if it was normal to be so short and so erratic but looks like a QC issue.

If it's about .110 too short it looks like you'll be able to make good money selling 480 brass stamped as .475. 💰😎 Not a bad idea! 🤑

If your Starline brass is shorter than their listed minimum length it's worth a call to Starline. They will replace it. If they had any to replace it with

If they had any to replace it with That's the Catch 22; at least they're accepting backorders... I'm less than pleased with the way that Starline has addressed certain issues, especially when they introduce new cartridges in their brass selection while simply ignoring others already in their lineup. I guess when you're the only game in town, you can do that, though.
