Would it work? A 5 shot K Frame might be just the ticket if it would work. I know a 10mm would be easier (I think) but the old .38 WCF is just a sexy cartridge and besides, no one else has one

I think a cylinder is possible. But, you'd still have a weak frame. A 6-Shot would be just as good and I think you've already done that...

Maybe a Colt Python would give a little more strength.
