The one in the picture with the target has the HTR prefix.
I got it lettered but am out of state for a few days and don't recall exactly what it said. They were the first Hunters made and I think there was 133 with that prefix..I'll check when I get home.

I have the same gun as the OP, when I saw it in an LGS I knew it was something special. Even though it’s a lock gun they haven’t made them in a lot of years. 41 is the only pistol caliber I shoot that I never cast any bullets for, I only have 2 guns that shoot it, the 657-5 and a S&W model 58. Right after the 657 I found a place selling the Remington 210gr JSP on close out. I bought several thousand and have been slowly working through them

That 210 SP is NOT a lot of fun to shoot from the 58...they are running a little over 1250 fps from a 4" barrel.
The original POLICE load designed for the 58 was a 210 soft swaged SWC at 950 fps. It can be duplicated with 8.0 grains of Unique. 9.0 runs 1100 fps and makes a dandy SD or hunting load...

I never found any of the full power DA .41 or .44's fun to shoot without pachmayr grips and or a glove. SBH? No problem.

I have never been as enamored as some of you with the .41. I do have a Blackhawk in that caliber but the .45 Colt caught my eye and stole my heart long ago. It almost feels like I am cheating on the .45 when I use something else.

The 7 1/2" 657 is another fine revolver from S&W... After reading Dick Williams review when this 41 first came out I immediately bought one and have never looked back. Using a 210 XTP handload, she`s responsible for a number of game.... Right now I`m having Magnaport cut an extra 7 1/2" 657 to five inch as I like my M-29 5" Classic so much that I figured a 5" version of this 41 may be a PPP..... ;)PS- she carries a Bowen adjustable W/O rear.....

The 7.5” SW657 is a sweetheart. Accurate beyond my expectations, velocity, energy and trajectory almost negate the need for having my 357max………almost. I got mine from 45MAN, and originally got it for my wife to use so I could have my 357max back from her. But after shooting it, didn’t want to turn it loose.
