Who put the front sight on that single six, is there a story on that gun? No particular story. It's a basic 5.5 stainless Super Single Six I bought as a companion to my Super Blackhawk. I put on the front sight and some imitation buffalo horn grips. The sight is a Hiviz for a Browning Buckmark. I am sold on the green fiber optic front on a hunting gun. My .22 and .44 have the same sight picture, and with the magnum cylinder in the Single Six, remarkably similar trajectories for useful practice and familiarity. |

The grouse were quite good eating, and shooting them was very much fun. If I lived anywhere near a population, I would be a grouse hunter for sure.

After the bear hunt, we turned the dogs loose again and manage to tree the elusive Sixshot…  …we heard that the best place to drop the tailgate was at the closest huckleberry milkshake joint - dogs treed in no time. |

I'm pretty easy to tree if there's a milkshake up there! Me & my buddy Larry cruised a bunch of his prime property tonight & didn't see a single Grouse, we had that terrible winter last year & I think they got slammed pretty hard. We decided it was a good idea not to shoot one if we spotted any. Better to hunt huckleberry milkshakes for a while. Hope you guys had a great time!!
