If anyone has an old holster for this gun that you no longer have use for, I'm looking for leather.

Beautiful revolver, now with your own provenance. Agree, a steel Bisley handle unbalances the Single-Six, both in hand and in eye. David Bradshaw

Now that will give the collectors over on the Rugerforum a stroke!
I love it. Those drift rear sight single sixes have always been a favorite. Yours is perfect! Congratulations and thanks for sharing!

That is a very unique and classy single six with the Fishpaw grips and Turnbull CCH. I agree that the Bisley gf is out of proportion on a single six, so I fit a birdshead gf to mine. I like it better than the Bisley, but I have to say your XR3 gf is about perfect on that gun. I’m not thrilled with the faux stag grips on mine and plan to change them some day. imgur.com/a/uMmz50N

Though I own a Bisley I would agree that it calls for an aluminum grip frame. Grips are ~20 year old caryc's.

Boxhead and some others were deep into this when I joined a dozen or so years ago.

89 dollars on Ebay. Maker unknown. Carving is deep and sharp, soft lining. The strap is a little dry (cracking) but I minked it all when it got here. The bisley hammer makes strap snapping hard, might have to figure something out.
