I've wanted one of these since they were released in 2022. Buds Gun Shop had them on sale for $579 and free shipping, so I took the plunge. As with my Tisas 1911 A1, the value is exceptional. For the way it's put together, I'd expect a price tag closer to $1,500. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but here are some key points: - Series 70 parts throughout - The slide and frame are forged. The only MIM part in it is the recoil spring plug - The barrel is their match grade, hammer forged stainless which has been lapped - The main spring seems plenty strong for the 10mm Auto - Two tone design. Black cerakote slide, trigger, safety, slide release, etc. The frame and barrel are stainless - Slide fit to frame and lock-up is as good as the countless high-end customs I've worked with - Fully adjustable rear target sight - The ambidextrous safety is easy to work - 25LPI Checkering Front Strap w/ Trigger Under Cut - Mag release is positive, but very quick to disengage - It comes with two stainless 8-round magazines The only thing I didn't like were the grips. They came with a very aggressive texture and a thumb cut out for the mag release. Never been a fan of the latter and I wanted a bit less texture. So I ordered a set of VZ Grips in their ETC design, made from G10. I went with mag well bottoms and no thumb relief. I plan to start out with a 200 gr powder coated bullet using HS6 and AA#9. Buds still has these for $579 with free shipping if anyone is interested. That's the lowest I've seen. More to come after it sees the range. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

Beautiful and I'm loving my Tisas. Look forward to your range report, but I'm betting it'll be a good one...

My favorite caliber in a 1911 is 10mm and I have a few of them. This one is pretty nice as well.

I handled Phil Shoemaker D10 and was greatly impressed and with what Buds had been offering them for I have been sorely tempted.
Phil told me they had grabbed every grubby chewed up 10mm and 40 S&W round they could get their hands on that day, mixed them back and forth in the magazine and couldn’t get the gun to jam. I guess with the Buff Bore Outdoorman load it was very accurate as well. I didn’t get a chance to shoot it.
I have spoke with quite a few Tisas owners and they are all very impressed by their value for what you get. No they are not Wd Brown or Nighthawk guns but then they cost 25% of what those bring. As long as you have reasonable expectations they seem To be a great value.
I have their Bobtail 45acp Commander on my list first but a D10 very well may end up in the safe before too long as well. I havnt branched out into the 10mm cartridge yet but have dies and molds for it so it would be a short step.

If I had $600 I'd be ordering one of these! Very nice.

Man that's nice! If I hadn't just paid for the SSK 50 frame and put some more layaway money down on a 44 BFR .... I would probably get that one! Still trying to hold out for the Tisas Yukon model.

I wanted one of these for the last 6-8 months. After reading this thread finally ordered one. Look forward to finally getting it. I already own three Tisas's and have been beyond impressed with each one.

I've been avoiding the 10mm just because I don't want to get into loading another cartridge, but at this price I may have to jump in. It doesn't help that Dick and Bob have made me aware that a guy could do a multi-caliber rig in 9 and 38 Super on a 10...enablers...

I did not want a 10mm/and another cart. either...That was a year ago now several various platforms and a single six later!!! yep it is a GREAT CARTRIDGE and it is the only auto I have learned to reload and that just improves everything about the 10mm!!

Basically a slightly under powered 41 mag in a semi auto configuration at a decent price. What is not to like?
