What do I need?
I already installed a Volquartsen trigger….. I want a new stock and barrel and any other goodies that may be necessary….

More than one way to do the Kidd trigger. Two stage, Single Stage, and then just simply parts. I went complete assembly two stage. The old buy once cry once applies here. Barrels can be a crap shoot. IMHO Best bet is to buy something that is guaranteed to shoot.

Not a take down but a former SS Mannlicher on clearance from Walmart many years ago with a stock and scope mount from a "junk" box ($50) at a gun store in Shreveport, a VQ hammer, Green Mountain 20" Sporter barrel and a Weaver 2-7X Rimfire scope. It shoots. Five shots at 50 yards.

Plus one to the Volquestern barrel for a takedown, because it lets you mount the optic to a cantilever on the barrel so there’s no worry an easy assembling (necessarily slightly loose) barrel won’t return to zero
The cheaper way is to get the Magpul backpacker stock, but plus Magpul red dot adapter to mount a dot on the forgrip.
