Went up in the high Cascades trout fishing today and slipped-twisted-and fell in completely under water! A shout out to Simply Rugged Holsters for making a great holster that saved my Python! A few lumps and bruises but came out okay, took the side plate off of the Python blew it out lubed it and it’s clean as can be. Not as sure footed in my middle sixty’s but too stubborn to quit.

I can guarantee you aren't the first one to take a handgun swimming.

Nope. Done it many times on oyster reefs in Coastal Texas. You did good drying it out and lubing it. Amazing some people dont think about that then wonder why it doesn't work anymore.

Last one I dunked was a few years back, S&W Governor rides in my life vest when kayaking the mid-south cottonmouth waterways. Acciddently rolled my rig in some shallow water in one of my favorite bream/bass lakes. Detailed strip & clean that nite made it all rite! Worst part was I grazed the bottom and stirred up Some sand which naturally made its way into the revolver
