Help ID these red dot optics?

howdy all,

I've been tasked with determining the ID & value of this red dot device taken from an AR rifle, determining if it has any worth to be listed online for a friend. I find no markings of any kind anywhere on it, only Weaver on the rings. Any help?

It appears to be one of Aimpoint's designs, but without markings, I'm guessing it is a copy.
