I have some .358 Caliber Gt Bullets that I am Loading. The bullet is 175 grain SWC, I weighed them at just a bit lighter. I decided to use data for a 180 grain. They have a long nose, and if they were much longer 38 special brass would be needed. But they fit in my OM flat top GP-100 and K-frames. I just put 50 on Top of A#9 and was about to put 50 more on top of 2400. Looks like 12 grains is a Common max Charge. I will load 11.2. I decided to go to the Alliant page and see what they show. They show nothing. They have no data for a 180-grain bullet. That seems crazy to me. If you want to sell powder, You should show data for the common bullet weights. And 180 is a common weight for.357 Mag. I like 2400, I keep looking for it. But I have enough for awhile. Alliant seems to be getting run over by Hodgden. It is like Hornady. I like there bullets too, But Speer and Sierra stuff is hard to find while Hornady is every place. Hats off to them. But I like Speer and Sierra bullets too I am Glad to see powders primers and bullets again, but Hodgden and Hornady are all I find ...tj

Powder Valley is showing some Alliant powders in stock, and I'm seeing more types of factory ammunition on the shelves, so I've been thinking Speer, Sierra, and possibly Alliant have been supplied ammunition manufacturers with their components over the last couple years, now that it's in the shelves as factory ammunition, maybe we'll start seeing their components on the reloading shelves again in the near future, hopefully prices will drop some too, who knows

Alliant powder used to be made by Lovex. The common cartridges load data just carried over. 180gr 357 isn't popular in Europe.
Alliant invested their resources into developing data for cartridges not listed by Lovex.
I like the MP 357-180 over 11.7grs #9. Less velocity than H110, but excellent accuracy. 1225fps from my 4" Security Six. Haven't chronographed it from a longer barrel yet.
