LOOK GOOD, REASONABLY PRICED AND AVAILABLE BUT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE SOME MORE TECHNICAL INFO (HARD CORE, SOFT CORE, THIN JACKET, HEAVY JACKET, BONED, NOT BONDED, etc.) AND REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE INFO.

Thanks for the link. They have a couple interesting looking bullets. Not absurdly expensive like some bullets.

Have not heard of, appreciate the link to view. Like the heavy for caliber offerings. Will be considering some. Thanks..

I bought 100 Gold Country .357 180 gr. JSP to try in a couple of Ruger .357 Maximums. The bullets looked good and were pretty consistent in weight, but I knew I had a problem when they measured .355-.356 instead of .357. I’ve had both cylinders reamed by Fermin and all throats measure .3575, so I didn’t expect much in terms of accuracy with .355 bullets. I tried 3 loads that have been very accurate with .357 XTPs and shot them from 50 yards. Groups with the GC bullets were terrible and velocities were 200 fps slower than with XTPs, and extreme spreads were 150+fps.
I emailed their customer service and asked if they had any .357 bullets that were actually sized .357. Kevin Jackson responded and said, “The 180 grain bullets cannot be compressed into the jackets as much as 158 and 125 because of the amount of lead”. I wished him good luck and filed the remaining bullets into the failed experiment drawer.
Maybe I will try the bullets again if I ever get a 350 Legend.

Thanks for sharing , may just give these a try in 44 magnum. Remind me somewhat of the Hawk bullets.

The one's I ordered to try in the 444 were size .427". Accuracy was not up to par with the three loads that are usually very good in my Marlin. Think I will pass on ordering more.
