Picked up this 1946-1948 K-22 recently. I'll shoot it a bit and then send on to relatives in CA. I understand that since it is more than 50 years-old it will qualify under CA's Curio & Relic exemption.

Looks like my late fathers 1953 vintage K-22! He loved that one used it all the time! Even managed to shoot himself in the leg practicing “quick draw” when that was the rage! I asked him wasn’t that target front sight an issue with a quick draw and he laughingly told me “Only Once” he wa quite a character!

Very nice gun....you will get a lot of use out of it...
Had a 1951 Combat Masterpiece 4" and 1951 K-22. Sold the 4" and traded the K-22 to a friend when he was selling his 1952 K-22 to get a Birth Year gun. The 1952 has a Target Hammer which I don't think was available at the time...
Excellent shooters..
