ARE THE S&W MODEL 16-4 32 MAGS ROUND BUTT, SQUARE BUTT OR SOME RB AND SOME SB? THINKING I DO NOT NEED FINGER GROOVED COMBAT GRIPS, SOME OLD DIAMOND TARGET GRIPS OR SOME CUSTOM MAGNA's SHOULD DO FINE (IF IT IS A SQUARE BUTT).
FINALLY SCRATCHED A LONG TIME ITCH AND HIGH BID A 6 INCHER ON GB. MAY HAVE TO SWITCH OUT THE BARREL TO A 4 INCHER I GOT FROM BUSHOG, AND MAYBE GET A SPARE MODEL 17 CYLINDER FITTED AND REBORED TO 327 MAG.

I have a couple, but only square-butt with combat grips. Never seen a round-butt one, but who knows what's out there.
Great Gun ! Prescut

I'm thinking the 4" would be fun but the 6" would be a right proper way to shoot things.

Mine is a six-inch square butt & I was shooting just a couple of hours ago, I bought mine used and in good shape off GB, a few years ago, I paid what I thought was too much but missed having one. I have owned all the barrel lengths but for the shooting I do I like the 6" the best. Mine does have the square butt factory S&W combat grips and I really like them for shooting.

Funny thing is, when these first came out, I felt the S&W was so heavy compared to the SSM, so I passed. Years later, I have a .327 BH. The S&W would've been nice. Congrats!
