What range of calibers does this book cover? Is it still in print by chance. Does it cover any loading data as well. Thanks for any info.

From the .357 Magnum and up, and black powder handguns. It does have load data, and I think it is a must have book. I cannot address the print status. Mine is the older 1997 edition, and I've been looking for the later edition. I want both.

I think what you are calling a "later edition" is a completely different book....

There is a "Big Bore Handguns" as well as "Single Action Sixguns" too. I think all are out of print.

Not only that, but the older I get, the faster time goes..... Get all of JT's books however you can. I have to read and re-read and re-read. Lots to absorb, particularly for us with poor comprehension skills.

boomer, Mr. Taffins book, Single Action Sixguns, does indeed cover the Linebaugh rounds and with a little load data to boot.

Big Bore Sixguns is still my favorite, every sixgunner needs a copy. No library is complete without all Taffin's books.

Contact Taffin, if he has any he'll sign one for you, plus he gets more money off a direct sale (I think). Email me if you need his contact info - boge@gunblast.com.

ALL OF MY BOOKS ARE SOLD OUT AND OUT OF PRINT. I DO HAVE A COUPLE COPIES ONLY LEFT OF SINGLE ACTION SIXGUNS. EVERYTHING ELSE IS GONE AND NEEDS TO BE FOUND AT AMAZON OR ABEBOOKS.
