The SS one from Power arrived and fits well. Unfortunately it is finely bead blasted so does not match the guns finish at all.

Are there many bead blasted stainless BH's out there? Their SS photo shows a polished finish. I'll call them tomorrow.

Anybody know how the blued ones are?

I just got two blued ones and they look and work as they should. They called to say all they had were NM type pins in full size Blackhawk length but I had no trouble shortening one for an old model Single Six.

I spoke with Power today and he advised they were no longer making non-bead blasted pins due to the time and cost of polishing. My SS one polished up fine though.

I have both. Both companies make (made) functional pins. Belt Mountain offered vastly more options, and to my eye were more crisply formed and nicer finished. Not a deal breaker though. The one issue I have with the Powers is that the scooped out portion of the basepin head is a bit too large. Belt Mountain’s snuggle up closer to the barrel. That leaves a good bit more of the locking set screw floating out in mid air with the Powers. The bigger scoop also allows the basepin to rotate more readily. Still, the Powers is functional and fits the bores well enough to not jump under recoil. The NM pin is easily shortened to fit OMs.
