Keley you are the only source I'll by a base pin from. Fermin is the front sight man. TD gets the ejector. Of course Ronnie's getting my business. I really want a set of LSCG ram's horns too. No reason to shop anywhere except on the membership list for the site. Could have written this myself. 👍

I don't think bashing Ron Power here is in anybody's best interest. All my guns have Belt Mountain pins but Ron's are excellent. His no5 is different than the BM. The head is shorter in length. Kelye can be upset about losing business, but he didn't invent the no5 base pin. Elmer's gun came long before, and Harold Crofts Sedgley built Colts which inspired the no5 came before that. I've had guns with Power Custom pins, triggers and hammers. Always excellent. We going to be mad if Ronnie Wells turns some pins? Does Doc Barranti get upset seeing a new holster maker? Did John Linebaugh get upset when other guys figured out their own 5 shot cylinders? Free enterprise drives America.

I MET KELEYE IN 2003 AT A LINEBAUGH SHOOT IN NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS. HE GAVE ME SOME PROTOTYPE .452 PUNCH BULLETS. I HAVE A BUNCH OF HIS BASE PINS AND HE IS A GOOD GUY TO DEAL WITH AND OFFERS A GREAT PRODUCT AT A REASONABLE PRICE, NOT BASHING ANYONE JUST STATING MY PERSONAL PREFERENCE.

^^^^An EXCELLENT post here. ^^^
While I haven't gotten a RW grip frame yet,, it would be the only place I'd go. But I have parts from Kelye, Fermin, TD, & LSCG. Besides,, I truly like to support small business folks, over bigger ones at every chance I get. Members here get preferred business from me. And while not mentioned,, "Doc" is now my only holster maker.
I didn't get the idea that Kelye was bashing anyone. He just commented on his business dealings with Ron Powers.
Yes,, free enterprise is the way America works. We all have our preferences, and good businessmen don't bash their competition. (As noted above.) I always do enjoy the comment; "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." I just think most of us ENJOY supporting our members here,, BECAUSE they are not only great folks,, they offer a top quality product.

All of it has been quality. That said, it's not bashing someone/something else to prefer a product or company. I made comment a while back about FA holsters. They are not of Barranti's quality but they are also less expensive. I really like FA revolvers and really like Barranti's holsters. Doesn't mean anyone is disparaging anyone else. And....I still need to count how many base pins I need. And front sights. And at least one grip frame. And....

It would be great if a Ronnie Wells would make a high quality pin, there is a demand for them.

Hate resurrecting an old thread, but seems better than starting a new one.
Now that BM is retiring and stock is dwindling, is the only source Powers for the Keith #5? I know BM no longer has any in stock. I asked.
